Effects

mainly stomach toxin, including endotoxin (parasporal crystal) & exotoxin. after pest feeding, δ - endotoxin of live bacteria

decomposes into toxic protein under insect midgut basic enzyme action, destroys the intestinal intima & enters the hemolymph

tissue, which makes harmful insects die of starvation & septicemia. it has very good biocontrol effects on over 100 kinds of pests

such as lepidoptera, diptera, coleopteran & plant & animal nematodes. it is highly toxic to larvae of 64 forest pests, 34 fruit tree

pests & 12 tea pests, but not sensitive to old larvae, not quick acting, and short duration; it can form beneficial microbe community,

inhibit soil pathogenic microorganisms, secrete & synthesize more kinds of organic acids, enzymes & other physiologically active

substances, prevent diseases, improve soil matrix enzyme activity, degrade soil solidified nutrients, promote absorption of

phosphorus & potassium, root growth & absorption capacities, enhance crop stress resistances & growth, improve yields & qualities,

and improve & optimize ecological environment of agriculture, animal husbandry & fishery.

Application

Scope

it is widely applied on cruciferous vegetables, solanaceous vegetables, melon vegetables, apples, pears, peaches, Chinese dates,

oranges, bananas, mangoes, litchi, tea trees, tobacco, rice, corn, sorghum, soybeans, peanuts, sweet potatoes, cotton & other

crops, as well as forests & grasslands. it is widely used for biocontrol of lepidoptera pest larvae, pieris rapae, plutella xylostella,

spodoptera exigua, spodoptera litura, cabbage moth, heliothis assulta, corn borers, cotton geometrid, helicoverpa armigera,

cnaphalocrocis medinalis, chilo suppressalis, pine caterpillars, tea caterpillar, tea geometrid, corn armyworm, etiella zinckenella, plusia

agnata staudinger, psychid, cutworm & other pest larvae, also has certain biocontrol effects on root knot nematodes, mosquito

larvae, fragrant-flowered garlic maggots, beetle, etc.

Application

Method

it as a low toxic pest biocontrol product can be used alone or in mixed formulation(s), used as ferment to produce microbial

biofertilizer or as a fertilizer mixed with other microorganisms for application. take 10x10⁹ cfu/g for example,

●   Agriculture:

1.    ferment organic fertilizer: mix with bacillus subtilis or other microorganisms, BT dosage 300-500g/MT;

2.    prepare organic fertilizer: 15-30Kg/ha., mixed with farmyard manure, chemical fertilizer or appropriate quantity of fine soil,

       then applied as base or top dressing. hole application or furrow application of transplanted crops;

3.    it can also be mixed with chemical fertilizer: after evenly mixing, it can be applied to soil or diluted with water for direct spray;

4.    seedbed: 5-10g/standard seedbed, mix well with bed soil, and then sow;

5.    pot flowers/plants: 1-2g/Kg pot soil;

6.    biocontrol product: take 16000IU/mg for example,

1)     mixed use of bacteria & pesticide: mixed use with half volume of abamectin, emamectin benzoate, trichlorfon, dimehypo or

        monosultap can improve effect, increase biolcontrol effect & reduce cost;

2)     only when temperature is higher (above 20 ℃) can it produce marked effects, best effect during July & September; 2-3 days

        ahead of chemical pesticide(s), effect is better at young age (early stage of egg hatching); 0.1% synthetic laundry detergent or

        tea camellia dreg or other sticky agricultural by-product as adhesive added to the bacterial solution, the effect is better (it is

        better to use ZengLiaoDe^® of Qiaoji Group to increase viscosity & efficiency);

3)     80 mesh size BT: 1-2 times water soak for 1-2 hours then filter it, dilute the filtrate with water to the concentration (0.01-0.05

        billion cfu/mL) & spray;

4)     325 mesh BT: twice diluted, after soak in a little water for 5-10 minutes, 1500-2000 times diluted with water & spray. if insect

        situation is heaver, it can be sprayed again 1-2 times every 7-10 days.

5)     aircraft spray & flight prevention: take 10 billion cfu/g for example, use 1.5-3Kg/ha.;

6)     it can't be mixed with systemic organic phosphorus insecticides, bactericides, copper chemicals & strong alkaline chemicals;

7)     it is high toxic to silkworm, no using in silkworm breeding area.

●   Aquaculture:

1.5-3Kg/ha. diluted with water & evenly splash, once every 10-15 days. If water quality deteriorates seriously, the dosage can be

doubled, once every 5-7 days.
